The National Youth Organiser of opposition New Patriotic Party, Sammy Awuku has hinted that Ghanaians will from November 20th experience a massive wind of change in the country.

He said, the nation witnessed such wind of change in 2000 elections but this year’s situation will be more than seen or felt in previous any election year.

The upcoming December 7 general elections is crucial and it is expected to be keenly contested by especially the two leading parties in Ghana, the ruling National Democratic Congress and the largest opposition New Patriotic Party.

Where as President John Mahama is running for a second term and wouldn’t want to be the candidate to break the record of every President under the Fourth Republic going two terms in office, Nana Akufo Addo on the other hand is poised to win the election, as this is likely to be his last trial at the Presidency due to his age (72), having already tried twice in 2008 and 2012 elections.

Speaking in an interview with Kasapa News after campaigning massively in the Jomoro constituency and other constituency in the Western region, Sammy Awuku indicated that he is now convinced that the youth are eagerly waiting for change.

He also called on the youth who are disappointed in some politicians due to the abysmal performance of the NDC government and had vowed not to vote in this year’s elections, to have change of mind and rather vote to get out the incompetent Mahama government.
